Short Update

Ryan’s sick. :( He’s been in bed for two days with a fever and a stomach bug. I swear living in this nasty house makes us sick. I’m so happy that my parents and I are looking to move. There’s been a shit ton of foreclosures around here lately. I assume it’s the people who bought houses for 400k+ these past few years. The cost of buying and renting here is still ridiculous. ( Which is why I don’t have my own place. ) But these houses aren’t so bad considering how nice they are and their location.

Last night my hunter hit 77 on WOW! Hopefully 78 tonight if I can hurry and get my posts done. I’ve made a little money this week. Not much but more than I have been. yay

Justin bought me the entire A Song Of Ice and Fire series in Hardcover! :) So I’m re-reading it again. I fucking love these books.

And look what Amy made me! I LOVE it.

Religulous!

I wanted to see this movie forever since Bill Maher is my old man crush and he is hilariously funny. The other night I finally got the chance to watch it with my fiancé and I absolutely love d it! It pretty much summed up exactly how I feel about religion.

The interview with the Governor was one of the things that disturbed me most. It showed just how ignorant so much of our country is BECAUSE of religion. Taking the bible literally is not a small matter. When people in power hold these beliefs they affect us all. Our entire country is effected by completely illogical beliefs when the people responsible for making our laws carry this blind faith in a man written and edited book that is thousands of years old. It’s one of the main reasons America is so far behind in Education. Politicians can’t seem to grasp the concept that Science and religion are not the same thing. The Priest interviewed who was an astronomer for the Vatican explained it well.

That’s an other thing. This Documentary actually gave me somewhat of a new found respect for the catholic Church. As corrupt as it may be they really are so much more progressive then the other branches of Christianity. With Science and Education especially. The Priests are EDUCATED men. Psychiatrists, Doctors, Astronomers. There’s priests that have degrees in a ton of things. They’re also intelligent enough to study and accept science. Like the Vatican Astronomer said. Religion and Science have no business being lumped together. They are in no way the same thing. Now obviously the catholic church can send their clergy to school because they are rich. Not all denominations and churches have that kind of money. But the point is most of these Churches are so closed minded that they wouldn’t believe it ANYWAY. They simply aren’t open to accepting Science.

The Mormon part was funny too. They threw Bill Maher off the temple lawn so fast!

What surprised me was that he was actually allowed inside the Muslim Mosque in Israel. The one built over the ruins of the Jewish Temple. I actually never knew about that until this movie. It’s like the most sacred place in the world to 3 religions and there’s a Mosque smacked on top of it.

Anyway the end of the movie is what I wanted to get to. It talks about how the World is run by religious people. These people make decisions—IMPORTANT decisions for their countries. And how many of them believe we are in the end times? Bush did. No wonder they are not making decisions to make our FUTURE better. They don’t even believe we HAVE one! And the scariest part of all is these countries are stock piling weapons. Potentially Weapons of mass destruction! It isn’t fair to the rest of us to have a world run by religious crazies. It is dangerous for everyone. x_x

Anger

Last night I woke up to a voicemail from Chris. He was back in Cali like I feared. I guess he contacted MJ’s friend and the guy drove him back there. I called him back and pretty much flipped out yelling and crying. I told him he and her are no longer welcome to be in any part of Ryan’s life.

As Angela and Daniel pointed out that probably isn’t the best choice. Ryan will only hate and resent me if I don’t allow him to talk to his Dad. I just don’t know how to protect him from this. The other night he said his dream was coming true because his Dad was moving back here. Now he isn’t and Ryan’s let down once again. This morning he asked me if I found Chris yet and when I told him he stuck his head in the pillow and cried. I cheered him up by telling him I was giving him all of the WOW gold Chris had sent me to hold for him until he got back. I told Ryan I’m giving it to him instead to spend on anything he wants.

Chris really let Ryan down. I’m so angry at him. He also let everyone else down as well. All the people who tried to make him coming back as easy as possible for him. His friends and family he offered jobs in the company he was starting, his brother even moved into the smaller room so Chris could have the bigger one. His aunt sent him a phone for his bus ride, Kevin was going to pick him up. Logan was going to help him start the company. I was hoping that since I’d have help with Ryan I could finally finish school. Once again that was derailed by Chris.

Chris was my best friend for a long time. I too was really happy about him coming back. That’s going to change though. I can’t do this anymore. Maybe I can’t tell Ryan he can’t talk to his Dad but I don’t have to talk to him. And I don’t have to hang out with him and MJ when they visit or allow them in my home. I already deleted his number from my phone and removed them both on myspace. :(
