I’m really happy!!!! We got the house! It will be a while before we move in though. We still need to build an upstairs. This house is perfect. It’s just two houses over from my Grandmothers where I lived my whole life. Now one of my aunts or uncles just has to buy the house in between and I can rename the road Donovan Drive.

I spent all of today out at the pool with Ryan and my cousins. I have somewhat of a tan for once which is a good thing. No more transparent white skin.

Justin’s finally reading A Song Of Ice and Fire. My absolute favorite book series in all the world. So I’m reading it with him ( My fourth time ). He was kind enough to buy me all the books in hard cover.

Every time I read this series I notice a million things I missed before. I can’t wait for A Dance With Dragons! I bet it will be amazing. I found these ASOIAF comics at http://www.winterfell.altervista.org/. Don’t read them if you haven’t read the books. SPOILERS BELOW.

As most of you who read this know Trueblood is one of my absolute favorite TV series. I’ve been watching it religiously since it first aired on HBO. This week was my all time favorite episode ever. ( SPOILERS BELOW )

They finally showed when Eric got changed!!! He was some sort of viking, ready to die from his battle wounds. He said Valhalla was waiting for him. ( Norse mythology rules just like him, )

Then all of a sudden this thing swoops down and murders his men. And jumps up onto his pyre. This vampire was hot too. He looked young. And had some tribal tattoos. He seemed to be entranced with Eric after watching him on the battlefield.. Eric asked him if he were death and he responded with “Would you like to be Deaths companion? I can be your friend, your teacher, your son” or something along those lines. Then BAM he bit him and turned him.

I’m really really interested to find out where this guy came from. Where he got the tattoos, etc. I really hope Sookie and Bill manage to find him alive. I remember Eric saying he could have been king of any territory he wanted and he refused it.

Anyway, I when they show flashbacks. And it’s even better when it’s of Eric. Hes awesome!

Since I haven’t felt too great this week I’ve been kinda lazy. Watching more TV then I’d like to. If I have to lay around I at least like to watch something where I can learn something so I’ve been watching a lot of documentaries. Mostly political.

Last night I watched a documentary on Ted Kennedy. Even though I’ve lived in Massachusetts all my life I can honestly say I have never known much about him or paid much attention when he was on TV or the news. Now I wish I did.

I never realized that he’s been involved in politics since way back when his brother was President. He was a senator really young. And a senator even before Bobby Kennedy.

I also never realized how hard he fought for so many years in civil rights and for fair healthcare. I think this man deserves a lot more respect than he seems to get. I can’t believe he lost the election when he ran for President in 1980. I honestly never even knew he ran..

This is a man that has been through some of the worst things out there. He lost so many siblings when he was young. Two of which died because they believed in the same things he did. That people should be equal. He and his brothers fought harder and gave more to try to help us poor people than so many other politicians combined. And they didn’t do it because they grew up poor. They grew up rich. And instead of thinking they were better than everyone else they fought for other people to have the same rights and opportunities as them.

I never realized before that JFK was assassinated 8 days after signing his civil rights bill.

Tonight I watched a documentary on Benjamin Franklin. Which would probably bore you all to death.

I really history though. Especially Political history. They talked about his biography and pretty much everything he ever did. But the one thing that stood out to me was his work on the constitution. Thomas Jefferson is famous for leaving religion out of it. But it was Ben Franklin who edited out some things of Jefferson’s that seemed a little too religious. Such as the word “sacred”. I think he replaced it with “self evident” or something close to that.

It seems Ben Franklin purposely made himself part of every church denomination. Even the synagogue. He knew that religion was what controlled the masses and therefore wanted to be connected to everyone through it. At his funeral every preacher, priest, and even rabbi walked together holding hands because he was part of all of their places of worship.

I also never knew he lost his relationship with his son when he chose to join the American revolution. His son wanted to stay loyal to England and even eventually moved there permanently after the Americans won.

It seems as if every time I find a million reasons to hate my country I read or watch something reminding me what people have given to make this country great. How many have sacrificed so much and even died to make it a better place. I guess that’s why we keep voting even though nothing much ever changes. because over time things change little by little and end up just a little better.

I’ve had a really crappy week. Overall I just feel like complete shit. On top of it I’m broke and can’t find a job anywhere. No one is hiring part time and I can’t work full time when Ryan’s out of school for the summer.

Still not moving yet. It looks like it will be an other few months. I really just need to get the hell out of here. This house is unbearably disgusting lately.

I really miss Justin. He’s trying really hard to find a job too and there isn’t anything open. I just wish he could move here already.

I’m going to the aquarium with Ryan tomorrow. He’s really excited. We’re taking a boat to Boston. Speaking of Ryan he begged and begged for his own website until I finally made him one. http://kaibacorp.org he keeps posting random youtube videos on it.

Whoever the fuck is trying to reset my Myspace and MSN.. you’re retarded. If you think there’s something interesting to read in my mails you’re wrong. I don’t use msn mail. And I don’t use myspace mail other than to occasionally talk to my cousin Jesse. I also don’t mail people pictures or anything. So I don’t know what you’re looking for and what you think you’ll get if you steal my myspace and msn?
