Reflection

She wears all the sparkling bracelets, To cover up her scars
Steadily keeping her distance.. To keep herself unharmed
She masked it all away, With her shining perfect smile
Choking back the taste. Of liqueur puke and bile
No one would ever know the pain that she kept locked
Quietly hidden away, In her over loving heart
Her tears were masked with laughter, Her failures drowned with lies
Waterproof mascara, Adorned her puffy eyes
A childlike nativity, Fit well with her small form
She manipulated a ditsy persona, To cover up her faults
There was something that she longed for, to wash away her tears
What was it she needed, to comfort all her fears?
What always kept her thriving, Was having someone to love
But every time they felt it back, She couldn’t help but run
She couldn’t handle closeness, Imposing on her superficial world
Cause where obsession turns to love is where the truth unfurls
Deep down inside , perfection hadn’t shown…
But her arrogant pride, Could never let that known
Her life is really nothing, but a series of obsessions
Ignoring all the obvious for her naive ideal perfection
Believing That shes innocent, when shes broke so many hearts
Manipulatively seducing, Not caring who is hurt
Convincing herself shes changed..
So clingy yet so distant.. Its really rather strange
She needs her little games to make herself feel important
Overjealous of everything, cause of her need to be worshiped
But submissive in her need to serve
Seeking out a counter part, That she’d worship like a lord
A mind as sick as hers…
Twisted yet romantic, They would rule their Perfect world
A king for this twisted queen..
A king. arrogant and jealous.. She’d for fill his every need
a king that knows her games, they would adore each other
Jealous fights and obsessions, bonding them even closer
They would rule each others dreams…
His overwhelming willpower.. bringing her to her knees
She’d bow in his direction..
King and queen.. Lover and love r, Would finally equal perfection
